i just put in a crvtec and it will drive but makes no power and has a check engine light. i didn't install the knock sensor but i thought that it would only cause no vtec if anything. i also installed a vtec controller at the same time and if i un plug it the car will run but wont move. it is an older vtec controller so i am pretty sure you don't have to set wot on it. i can't figure it out. i thought maybe timing but the idle is right at a steady 800 -900 rpm. please guys i need to figure this out it is my only car

read the CEL and post it and do a compression test..
a disconnected knock sensor will still engage vtec.

maybe you installed the vtec controller wrong...
