eBay SS header testimonials?
Coveting the Comptech 4-2-1 header for my GSR sedan, but it's so damn pricey. Anyone have experience with something off eBay, like this:

Or would I better off getting a DC ceramic header? I have a SRI, stock exhaust, and stock header with a cracked weld. Looking for mid-range gains.

everyone will tell you that you get what you pay for, and for the most part its true. cheaper no name parts (ie ebay) are notorious for having issues with fitting correctly. if you're looking for a cheaper header, check the classified section, theres always great deals there
I put a Comptech in my GSR 4 years ago. it is still on my brother's car (he has it now). It makes excellent midrange and very good top end power. perfect header for daily driving.
yea, you do get what you pay for. i've heard so many stories of DC's cracking...and the finish is SUB PAR.

But the question is did it make gains? Its a good sign at least that they haven't cracked, but would it be worth it to buy one if the stock one isnt broken?
