Del Sol seat brackets - same as Civic?
Do you mean that the bolt pattern (i.e., the spots where you bolt the rail/bracket assembly to the body of the car) is different? The rails came with the aftermarket seat that I bought, I'm just looking for a bracket now. If the bracket cannot be bolted onto the body, I will enter a world of pain
They may bolt to the seat but probably not to the floorboard of the del Sol. That's why when people like me and others put del Sol seats into our Civics, we have to put the Civic rails onto the del Sol seats. That way they'll bolt to the floor.
stock rails form your civic seats will bolt to the del sol seat (you will not use all three of the locations only 2)
Please search this topic has been covered before.... And if you just took the time too look at the parts you would beable to do this without any questions, it's a straight forward install...

Uhhh... I have a feeling I'm being misunderstood.
I cannot use OEM rails, I have to use the rails that come with the aftermarket seat. The stock rails and brackets are combined into one assembly; I, however, will have to buy a bracket to attach to the floor, onto which I will bolt the rails that came with the seat. If I could simply use my old rails, I would have done that already.
Now, Daniel answered my question, although he did not sound 100% certain. I guess I can rephrase my query this way: if I were to unbolt a del Sol seat from the floor and move it into a '92 Civic, the bolt holes will not match up. Correct?

NO they don't match...
Come on now...
If you had a bit of common sense you would see that if you can't use a Del Sol braket(slider) in a civic. Then the reverse is the same... A civic bracket(slider) will not bolt into a Del Sol.

Grimm, I drive a del Sol. I do not have access to a Civic, but most parts that I can find online are for Civics. That's the only reason I asked. Obviously the reverse of two facts in this case is true, but Daniel didn't sound positive in his reply.
Thanks for the answer that I was looking for, though!

Yeah, I was only like 90% sure. Good job on picking that up!
Anyway, I see what you're saying now. You have an aftermarket seat that already comes with rails and sliders. Now you just need the "frames" that will connect to all that **** and bolt everything to the floor. If you can get creative then I suppose you could use parts from a Civic. However, do you have access to a junkyard or pick-and-pull? They might have a del Sol hidden away somewhere that you can take apart for the stuff you need.

the mounting points are not EXACTLY the same but you can flex the rails a bit to bolt up perfectly, i had to do this when i put 99-00 SI seats in as well, i used the stock SI rails in the EG coupe..what im saying is it will work if the rails are simular

Eh, sucks, can't post more than five times in 24hrs, so I couldn't respond.
Unfortunately, there is (virtually) no way to do anything with the stock del Sol brackets/rails - that stuff is welded together pretty well. I was thinking of going to a junkyard to do the measurement, but I decided to risk it and order Civic brackets from prosportonline.com. We'll see what happens - if I can't get them to fit, I can always use them as a picture frame or something
Thanks for the help!

They are different and will not bolt up. You might be able to "make it work," but i wouldn't take that kind of chance with your safety. It's worth the extra time to bolt the del sol cushions to the civic rails and be done with it.
The last thing anybody wants is to have a friend get seriously hurt and die in a car crash because they didn't take the time to bolt the seats in the correct way.
The hassle of switching the cushions/rails over is worth the safety in my opinion.

Same here. I speak from experience. If I don't know firsthand then I'll say so. I have del Sol seats (thx Katman!) in my '97 sedan. Don't believe me? Visit my webpage.

TinyCRX, I hear ya: don't want to risk the chance of the brackets getting ripped out in a crash. Unfortunately, there's simply no way to use the stock brackets/sliders/anything with the seats that I got. Well, other than putting the new seat on top of my old seat and duct-taping the hell out of the two
I'll send the word out when I get my brackets on the 29th.

Can't find what I need! Del Sol brackets that I did looked like something that definitely would not fit my seats. I need a bracket with two parallel intersecting flat steel beams that have holes on the bottom for floor bolts. Hard to explain, this looks exactly like what I need: http://www.prostreetonline.com...ckets/
If I had something like that, I would just bolt the bracket to the bottom of the rails that came with seat, done and done.

All right, time to settle it once and for all. Got my brackets, and guess what?
...
Yup, they definitely do not fit. One hole, yes; the rest do not match up at all, the holes in the floor are spaced too close, and the back ones are too low on the floor. So much for thinking my CIVIC del Sol was a Civic.
I see a lot of fumbling, drilling, and welding in my future...
