You are my last hope guys. If I bought a Mugen manifold and cat-back system, whould it bolt straight onto my cat? I think it would if it was a JDM cat but I am in the UK and have a UKDM prelude. Some people are saying that it might not fit due to a possible difference in cat size. What do I do bearing in mind I need to let the supplier know by the end of the week and I don't fancy having the parts delivered all the way from the US and not fit!!

 

I know the manifold (header will bolt up). However the exhuast system needs to be modified slightly (needs to be bent after the cat) to fit properly in the USDM prelude. I know this becuase I purchased mine from Kingmotorsports.com.

Are the UK cats the same as the US cats?

Have you talked to kingmotorsports yet? When I asked them this, they said the mugen header and cat-back would work with the US cat; no modification neccessary. Considering that they're the US importer of Mugen, I'd ask them.

 

Yes, it will bolt straight to your car. If you imported it directly from Japan your length may be wrong, but you can use the flange.
