Default Lookin for that 'deep dish' or 'fat lip' look

I want to get 16" wheels but with the deep dish look. What are the measurement thresholds of our EF's? offset and width...pictures would help too. thanks

My car is lowered 2 inches.

Those are so deep dish they look like dog bowls!

There's go to be somethign bad with an offset like that. Seems like it would be hard on the wheel bearings if nothing else.

How the **** did they do that? I barely have an inch on clearance on 7" wide 15" slipstreams.

How do they clear the breaks? some sort of spacer.....

i fit 15x7's w/ a +42mm offset with just a little bit of fender rolling. 205/50/15 tires.

heres a pic...

and the front

a +45 offset would probably keep you from needing to roll the fender, but the wheel wouldnt sit at flush. or if you wanted an offset like the crx above, you'll have to stretch the tires and roll the fenders

go to VWvortex.com and look around. it seems that the only thing dubers like more than a nice fat lip is either tucking it into the fender or being slow

it sucks that our EF's can't get away with a deep dish without rubbing the fender or inner wheel well.

Anyone have 16" wheels with a 40 or more offset?

wow, those wheels on that german crx stick out like an inch or two from the fenders. But aren't they also like a 10inch wide wheel? I know around here that the wheels can't stick out past the fenders or the car is deemed illegal. I can't remember the exact tolerance but it isn't much.

I have to apologize for the size of this pick, but for a deep dish this one is the **** IMO:

Enter the Volk Racing TE37 CUP

**EDIT** Resized

They come in sizes:
15"x6.5"
15"x7"
16"x7"
16"x8"

Are these deep enough for you? They look nice too IMHO:

http://www.jhpusa.com/catalog/...f.jpg Not sure why JHP has that pic, when the pic for the rim on King Motorsports looks more like a "flat face" type rim.

The only other JDM rims I know that are deep dish are the ones I have:
