hey, i just installed a set of progress springs on my car. and after driving it around i noticed i had a nice clanking sound in the back. I think it might be because i didnt trim anything? Im not sure exactly what/how to trim the sleeve thing.
these springs are on stocks shocks for now, and i really need to get rid of this noise and i also think it makes the car sit too high. thanks in advance

Here are a couple of possibilities that you may have problems with.
1- Trim 1/3rd of bumpstop to allow for travel
2-Make sure spring is aligned properly at perch and cap (this will cause noise)
3-Make sure that strut notch is in line with lower fork slot (common mistake and very noisy!)
G.L. and b.t.w. I highly recommend Tokico lumina's 5 way's for the money.

1- Trimming bumpstop makes no difference unless he's bottoming out, and I doubt that since he says he thinks it's sitting too high.
2- A good possibility
3- He said the noise is coming from the rear, so the fork slot doesn't apply.
Make sure everything is tightened and seated properly, and make sure you didn't forget anything like the washers that go underneath the top mount, above the bumpstop (like the tapered washer i.e. bumpstop plate).

The comment about bumpstop only mentioned in response to him claiming he did not trim anything. (not noise) #2 You are correct , that only applies to front. Thank you for correcting me. LOL
