well, how was it + who won the free trip to TokyoAuto Salon???

 

It was raining cats and dogs on Saturday. When I passed by the area, I saw a lowered purple EK with Fireball exhaust and Option sticker pass by (exiting on Alameda St.). I assumed he was heading to the Expo. At the same time I thought to myself, "man, it's a good thing I'm inside my car and not outside in the rain."

So I know a few ITR owners decided to show (Yoshi, Fais, etc.) How was it and who do I need to contact to get me a few goodies while they're at TAS.

turn out was so-so...quality of cars was
me, speedpak, hybrid_eg, kitkatR were there reppin H/T..along with gavin and his crazy *** mugen rhd eg...
food was going off....fruday night fais drank us all under the table..we danced our asses off...had a good time...we gots to do that again..

yep.. like said above.. turnout was ok.. it wasnt a real carshow so its not like you will see some fine ladies walking by.. its more like a bunch of little punks wondering around trying to see if a car is open so they could sit down and test it.. i heard some kids actaully were standing in a few S2K's on the seats while they had their picture taken.. i'm glad i locked mine

who won? by far the most ugliest car at the show.. it was a DA 90-91 teg.. white, with some 17", window tint that is fully bubbled up all around, and lets not forget the chop chop aluminum wing that must have been made at home depot. I think its actually good that he won! hopefully TAS will open his eyes and he will realize what a damn fugly car he's driving.

 

I went, i saw, i took pics, saw no honda-tech guyz, but got some free tofu, bought a JDM banner, drove a little Nascar 2000, met a Nascar d00d (used to be a JDM truck driver), saw some fugly "anime gurls" which I didn't get a chance to take with my camcam for fear of making them feel bad (hrm, I shud have had my wife take pics with me and them anyway, pretending to be blind... hrm... what's that m00fy? Shallow Hal ) If you didn't go, you didn't miss much, but if you did go, it was an okay time. It's definately no TAS.

show was OK, got some little knick nacks for SpeedChic...other than that the 'skylude' w/ its moulded roof wing took the Riceboy prize for me
