Suspension: Can I swap my 92-95 Civic/Integra Rear Koni shocks into my 89 HF (fork style)
Basically I tried it myself this afternoon and I thought for sure it works judging by some of the responses on here... But I don't know if its just my but the trailing arm of the rex was a little bit thicker as a result the shock could not fit correctly to be bolted.... Am I wrong ? thanks
I used my 99 Tokico shocks on my rex before, and those shocks came with some rather thick washers that go in between the shock, and LCA on both side of the fork. Just to clarify, the washer went on the outside of the LCA, but on the inside of the shock fork. You just hold one washer at a time while putting in the thru bolt.
longer isn't a problem but I understnd what you are saying "REDBARON" about the washers in b/t the shock and LCA... But the problem is the LCA looks/is too thick for the fork of the shock to fit over it///
