advance or retard for more power up top? I searched but saw mixed answers. So can anyone tell me the truth? Thanks..

it really does depend but most advance to 18 degree's. do you use 91 octane in ur b18b or i mean wutever the use in va im in cali.

Advance up top, faster piston speeds requires the burn cycle start earlier, just dont go too far or bump up your octane.

Dyno...the power delivery is not as sensitive to ignition timing changes as on the cam side...however...a little advance will improve throttle response...but, in my experiences, on mild apps, I've not seen any sig gains either up top OR down lo from 2 degrees of advance on the ignition side-
