going to drop my car, got some questions
When i bought my hatch the front springs were cut, so i decided the first thing i was going to do was drop my car the right way... I searched for something that would show me all about what i need to do, but i couldnt find anything so if anyone has a link or some information id appreciate it. I know i need a new ball joint and upper control arm on the drivers side, so do i need to do replace that first? Im going for a minimum 1.6 drop in front and 1.5 in back. The main thing i want to know is what do i need to buy and in what order do i put them on or does it matter. Will i still use the struts i bought from autozone or do i need new ones, or will i have a different setup
If you plan on replacing the struts with the springs it will be an easier job. If the springs are cut chances are the shock that are on it are blown.
the shock? if thats part of the strut then it should still be ok as ive driven only about 500 miles since i replaced all 4 struts. If the shock is a seperate thing then i apologize for my ignorance.
best order is all at once. i personally like Ground Control coilovers they can be adjusted to any height and you can swap out the springs to firmer ones if you get into auto cross or drag racing whatever. i also use KYB AGX shocks and they have done me well. when you use them correctly like following the manufactures limits they work great. check my garage https://honda-tech.com/gara...04025 to see my height at there suggested lowest setting...looks good to me.
i think for the $ its the best setup. and if you get winter you can raise it up so your not a plow...
EDIT... if you just bought all 4 new shocks just drop it like an 1" or 1 1/4" they should last sometime, but not very long. better off pulling them off selling them and buying stronger ones like KYB or Koni.

Yes you should. No name coilovers don't have the option to change the spring rates to your likings like Ground Control do.
It's not that hard to install man, believe me.

Ya but comparing the 2, it seems the omnipower are a better buy. Dont they have adjustable damper too. The basics dont and are more expensive.
