OEM sheetmetal only. Just curious if it's worth it buy a used one, along with the stock chin spoiler. And if you did buy a used one, would you do it again? I'd imagine with a used nose, you'll need to deal with dents, dings, scrapes, missing hardware etc.. which will increase prep time. But you can save a lot of money, but is it worth the hassle?

New of course Some used ones I have seen are in ok condition but if panels need alot of work ie out of shape dings etc, it could raise the prep time and make it not so much of a savings.

PS IM me if your in tommorow I'll swing by and show you those kick panels, oh and the car attached to them

uhhh. $2,000 for a nw JDM front end is unheard of. Usually, they run that price used. I bought my front end brand new in the box. I looked at used front end and decided I would rather pay a bit extra for a perfect front end. Buy a new one also, if you buy a used one, I suggest buying a new radiator support just to be on the safe side.

i think a fair price to pay for a complete JDM conversion 96 spec is about 2500.. that all brand new parts down to every single bolt you need.. a 98 spec you are probably looking at 3500 thats only because of the HID's.

Since you are in WA, if you don't mind to get over the border, http://www.aj-racing.com

used frontends "usually" are not in perfect condition, which means dents, scratches, but even if it is perfect, the paint usually won't match with your car. Since you are getting a 94 teg, you will have to get it repainted anyways.

the radiator support is welded on the car and in order to include it in the kit they must cut it off. I just got a little sketched out over the whole idea. It's up to you though, your car is still going to look sick, don't worry.

This is an interesting development, indeed, Jeff! There aren't too many JDM conversions in our neck of the woods. Your car will look amazing.

As for new vs. used, well, it'll be difficult to know the true condition of the sheetmetal until you actually see it. With ding removal and repainting, you'll have an easy 1200-1500 bucks. The new sheetmetal will still need painting, jacking its price up quite a bit.

I'd still be prone to go used because it might be worth it if you end up saving a grand but still get a good piece. I think used engines are sketchier than used sheetmetal.

But who would I contact about picking up a FIBERGLASS JDM ITR front end???

I am getting any body work done for free...but don't want to pay the $2500 price tag for a metal front end. Please let me know. Thanks.
