is there anything different with the 88-89/90-91 PM6 Ecu's?

Default is there anything different with the 88-89/90-91 PM6 Ecu's?

as topic says. Also between the crx's and civics are there anything different ecu wise.

they all work the same engine wise

but internally they are different
the 90-91 can only be chipped


the 88-89 can also but they are more complex

Well i have two PM6 ecu's. One is a 90-91 pm6 and the other is a 88-89 pm6 how can i tell the difference?

The way to tell the difference is if the 88-89 ecu has a 28pin E-Prom (in laymans terms a computer chip) It should have 14 on 1 side and 14 on the other. It should also read OKI. All 90-91 pm-6 ecu's have this in them
