is there anything different with the 88-89/90-91 PM6 Ecu's?
they all work the same engine wise
but internally they are different
the 90-91 can only be chipped
the 88-89 can also but they are more complex

Well i have two PM6 ecu's. One is a 90-91 pm6 and the other is a 88-89 pm6 how can i tell the difference?
The way to tell the difference is if the 88-89 ecu has a 28pin E-Prom (in laymans terms a computer chip) It should have 14 on 1 side and 14 on the other. It should also read OKI. All 90-91 pm-6 ecu's have this in them

Oh yeah... I believe that's the only way.. unless some one else says different..
