Default 88-89 integra head on 88 si?

My friend just got a 88 integra motor with trans and he wants to put the integra head on his crx si motor. Both are D seriers so i figure it would bolt right up. Just wondered if anyone has done this and if the piston to valve clearance would be ok.
Any other info would be helpfull. Thanks

My buddy wanted to do the same swap and no one ever heard of it. I guess it will not work.

It won't work because the head is DOHC.

wont work.....the only motor the D16A1 head will fit on is the EW motor from the G1 CRX. Sorry, even though they both say D......the 86-89 integras tranny and motor are the black sheep of the family. Wont Work
