whats the best Clutch and Flywheel setup?
i want to get a good clutch that'll last a bit longer and with stands around 300 HP. also the flywheel i heard theres an 8.8 lb flywheel and the like a 12 lbs one, what the best kind of clutch and flywheel?
yeah I would like to know that too I am having a jdm vtec put in and the shop is using exedy clutch (which is good) and a 8.8 lb flywheel made out of chromlium they said that the acceleration is awesome and that it can accerlate so fast that when you get off of it and slow down the car can stall which I do not know if it would cause damage or not but I have seen sites with vtec ludes running 10 sec or better 1000 ft times with similar setups
i hear the street lite Flywheel from ACT goes go0d with the heavy duty clutch. i think its like a stage 2.

I also have a gen5. I've tried two clutches already.
when I just had bolt ons, I upgraded to Fidanza 8.5 lb flywheel and ACT HD clutch, with organic street disk.
the pedal feel in the car was only slightly more heavy then stock. after a day, I didn't even notice it. worked great till one of the springs broke off my disk.
many people had some trouble driving my car. it stalls really easy with that FW... but the added torque was great.
now I'm running the same Fidanza FW, with the ACT Xtreme pressure plate, and 6 puck disk.
car is really touchy, pedal is heavy now, but my leg does not get tired from it. my buddy had the same clutch in his teg, and that pedal is freakin heavy! also it does not like to start off to smooth at low speeds, it has some chatter (like rollin up in a drive thru line). but she launches like a dream!
so I suggest just going with the HD plate and street disk. it worked great for me... uhh except for the disk breaking lol
