Last night I went to visit my old roommate becuase I had not seen him in about a month or so. I was having some insurance problems and finally yesterday I got it worked out and got my papers for insurance and headed on over. There was no place to park other than in the visitor's parking but I got an overnight pass so I was ok not to get a ticket. So I head up there and hang out.

I was planning on heading home at like 4am but then got too tired and decided to spend the night. Which was fine I had the overnight pass so I was going to be good and the security guard knew my CRX so he wouldnt be a problem either.

So at about 11am today my roommate wakes me up. He tells me that the back window on my CRX was broken. I thought that he was joking becuase he likes to pull little pranks like this once and a while. So I tried to go back to sleep. He woke me back up like 2 min later and told me he was serious and to head downstairs to check it out. I then proceeded to tell him that if he was lying I would kick him in the nuts.

So still pretty asleep I headed down stairs and walked out the main doors of the apartment building and wouldnt you know it, a huge hole in my back hatch of my CRX. So I open it up and notice an Iceberg Vodka bottle broken in the back of my CRX. The whole bottle, while in pieces, was in there which means that the bottle must of been thrown from a high balcony and then hit my CRX.

So I go inside and call the cops. They tell me that not to touch anything and that they would be there in 5 min. So 2 hours later, no I am not embelishing the time, they showed up. He took the neck of the bottle from the back of my CRX and said he was going to take it in to be finger printed and tested. Then he told me that there was nothing else that he could do and that I would have to deal with this on my own.

The deductable on my insurance is $500 which means that this is all coming out of my pocket. Which is wicked because I am unemployed and have other things I need to pay off. So by the time that this is paid off and the other stuff (engine repairs) are paid I should have about $90 left in my bank account.

So to whom ever decided in Kitchener at High Point Tower apartments to launch a Vodka bottle off the balcony onto my CRX I hope that the next time you do that you are so drunk that you fall off the balcony and land on a bike with no seat.

I will have pics up tommorow night becuase I cant get a camera untill then. I had to take all the loose glass out to make it home in my CRX but the pics will show you what happened.

that sucks man, i swear its not just the yellow ones that are cursed but all of them. when i had mine it was broken into 5 times. since i sold it i havent had a problem with any of my other cars. (knocking on wood)

Well at the same apartment when I used to live there I had my wheels stolen. Also that same week as the wheels I had my Suburban stolen. Then about a month before that I had my CRX broken into 2 times.

But seriously that sucks, its terrible when people do things out of lack of morals or maturity.

I think he's putting more emphasis on the EMO part, than punk, but that's just my opinion, but I'm biased because I like both those bands

i wouldn't call those bands emo either.

anyway, hes still an idiot for suggesting the destruction of other innocent peoples property just because someone messed with his.

I got the camera tonight so here are the pics of the damage. I had to break out most of the glass so I could drive my CRX the 20 min ride home but you will get the idea of the damage.






The back cargo cover was open when the bottle struck. So like 80% of the glass is in the bottom hatch area. Im so looking forward to cleaning it all up .



Here is whats left of the bottle itself. There are some other chunks from it in the back of the car but these were the larger ones. You can clearly see that it was a vodka bottle and by the amount of the bottle that is in the car you can tell that it was thrown at my car from a far height.


Just some pics of the area behind my seats. You can see my leather jacket and other stuff is totally covered with glass.



On the bright side I have never had such a clear rear view while driving in my entire life .
