Legend Brake Swap: Give me your feedback
I figgured I'd post it here since odds are ITRs upgrade by simply switching calipers.
I have a 95 gsr and am seriously considering the Legend dual piston caliper brake swap, I'd love to get some feedback as to how much of a difference it made.
I'm looking @ 300$ cad for rebuilt calipers, so I wanna make sure they are worth it.

hmm...the single piston legend calipers are the same as itr...however...there was a year that made 2 piston ones...i think the 2 door coupes...maybe the gs 2 doors

But the Legend rotors are thicker No? At least I remember seeing that once.
Maybe he's thinking of the NSX caliper/Legend rotor combo or some such.

Legend GS Rotors are 28mm.
The calipers are 2 piston, but if you want to install them so that the pistons are in the correct orientation, you will need to remove and flip the caliper upside down to bleed them. The bonus is they are alot cheaper than NSX clappers.
Edit: I have no idea on their fitment for GS-R's - Legend rotors are 5-lug.

thats what i did w/ mine except i used the single piston ones...(supposedly there is more surface area w/ the single piston calipers than the dual piston ones)...and there the exact same as the itr calipers...accord wagons...etc.

More surface area, but it wont wear the pads as well.
Just make sure the pistons are properly sized up with the master, prop valve, rears, etc.

thanks dad...gsr 1" master/booster...30/30 prop. valve (integra i think)...civic si rear disck swap

Dammit....I forgot to mention
Legend GS dual piston calipers...this si the swap I nwant to do...I know it can be done on a gsr....I need reviews.

Are you sure about this?
I have been told that the legend rotors have bigger piston diameters than the NSX calipers, and it would surprise me if the ITR/Wagon/etc calipers were larger than the NSX.

hmm, cause I also read that the piston diameter of the ITR calipers is the same size as the non-itr brakes. Its just the caliper itself, and thus the pad is larger.
