i'm looking into buying some 99gsr rims from someone close to my area. The rims have been painted with spray can paint to a dark gray color. Does anyone know if i will be able to strip the paint and restore its original shine and appearance without damaging it the rim. I want to make it look stock again. and what do you think are going prices for these rims w/ no tires. thanks.

should be able to use aircraft paint remover, that should take off the spraypaint and not runin the rim, (rim is polished)
