Default B18C/B20B hybrid swap

a friend of mine has a civic hatch with a B18C gsr motor in it he wants more power out of it and i was wondering if it was a good idea to do a B20 block with the B18 head on it would he see a lot of horsepower gains out of this or should he stick with the b18?
