Yes i did run it like that, ran awsome and warmed the car up. then shut it off and put a sensor in, turned it back on and heard oil drippping out the bottom.
there are black holes in the middle.... what should i do? should i try to retorque it?.. sorry about the crappy pics best i could do.. any suggestions?

edit: if i retorque it like is, will it turn the whole sandwich while im tightning it?

what should i torque it too??

In the instructions i got, it didnt give a specific torque reading, it just said be careful not to over tighten, because you could cause irreversible damage to the block.

That seems kinda of odd that they wouldn't at least give you any torque settings. Considering that is a very important peice.

Also, be sure that the silver shaft / bolt that we supply in the kit fits into the center of the black sandwich plate. If this is not CENTERED, then it can leak. It must be installed properly.
Take the unit off the car, hold it with the o-ring facing you. The silver shaft / bolt should fit all the way into the center bore you see.

Flip it over and the built-in washer should be sitting flat on the sandwhich plate!
Get the unit onto the car. Tighten the bolt by hand until it stops. Back it off until the black sandwich plate moves freely. Wiggle it around while pulling it back toward you away from the block. If seats in and stops wiggling, then it is positioned correctly. While still pulling back on the plate, spin the bolt until it stops. Then follow the supplied instructions.

Golden Eagle is awesome. They're sleeving and building my block as I speak. They have excellent customer service. If you supply the pistons and rods they will sleeve it and build it for 2198.11! I think that's damn good considering a lot of local shops that have never done one before wanted more than that. I spoke extensively with Robert Adkins at golden eagle. I asked him what kind of hp I should be looking at and he said he wouldn't see why I wouldn't push 300 to the crank with the headwork I'm having done. Their vtec conversion kit is very nice and my friend runs it and has had no troubles. They also carry a full line of parts for most honda motors. Check them out guys!

Yep , I had some problems with their sleeves before and they stepped up and took care of the problem for me. The new block I have has allready run low 11's,(just not in my car )
