I was watching the speed channel and it was tuner vision
they took a yellow crx from this dude, put a b16 carbon fiber hood, kept the car mad clean, and put avid mounts, and the owner of the car wasn't even or seemed not to be that happy, with all the items he received, which he probably got for free.
what a schmuck, just wanted to vent cuz if i had that done to my hatch, which I just sold, I would have been so HAPPY

if this is off of topic, please move, i just don't understand, he got like 5-7k just by putting his car on this show so they could do it, and he didn't seem happy at all, just shocked at his demeanor!

The guy is on crxresource.org

They did more damage than good.

I wouldn't let that show tune my lawn mower.

what kinda crap is that how can you have a "tuner" shop and F up like that I would never get any work if I messed up peoples rides. At least he got a b16 out of it!

Ya, he posted that he was having a lot of problems with it, and they switched the obd1 conversion back to o, kinda weird. They also broke his gauge cluster(the temp or fuel gauge or something). Ryan

I dont know, i thought his car looked much better aftwerwards than it did before. He HAD yellow tint and alteezas. Now his car looks much better imo, and performs better.

The shows ok, they've had some nice stuff and some dumb stuff on there.

I saw the show last night and I thought his car looked clean as hell after they finished it. I have always loved yellow crx's and they didnt rice his car out at ALL. Although he did not seem happy at all with what they did i guess maybe he was tv scared? OH well his car looked good and I know I would have been happy with it

Didn't he have an a6 in there? Why would he have switched to OBD1? Would it just be a tuning advantage?

hahahahahaha

i would be pissed if they touched my car. none of them on that show look like they know a cv shaft from a thrust bearing.... they dont even do any of the ******* work; they take it to 1000000 different people to have **** done.
About the only thing they've done that i liked was the srt-4 and the corolla gt-s... I'd loved to have seen both cars after the show and checked them out myself; see if they made it work out or if it was crap.

it's sad... like wtsexton said i would not let them tune my lawn mower...
