im asking this for a friend.
is a HX a ok car to use nitrous on? cause doesnt HXs run lean cause their suppose to be using the vtec-e engine that saves hella gas? i dunno. anyone with a HX and has any knowledge about HX w/nos, please reply

 

they don't run lean to get good gas mileage. they just use a different VTEC system. i've seen an HX with NOS (and a supercharger) running 12's so with the proper setup, it's just as easy as spraying with any other Honda.

 

Why does he want to spray it? Not offense, but the car is still gonna be slow. I have a friend who sprayed her 6th gen hatch and was still only running 16s....and blew the motor after a few months.

i hear there is a guy in my area with a single cam vtec and a 75 shot in a ek and is runnin mid 15's

 

it was definitely not stock, but i don't know what setup. i didn't talk to the guy.

 

damn 75 shot and only in the 15s? that sucks..
ne ways, anyone know if zex cams work on hx motors?

 

Zex cam will not work. The Ex cam and the Hx cams are way different. Oh, there was a guy on SHO with an Hx. He had a custom ground cam for his 75 shot of nitrous....plus some other mods. I think his best run was a 13.xx
