Got in a wreck...Totalled?
I was going 50 mph down a road I rarely go down (speed limit is 40), and then I saw a quick swooping right curve coming up, as the road went into a red light. I had been in the middle of changing a cd, so I had to put the cd in the player as fast as a could, so I could stop and keep control. I ended up nicking the curb of the median, shooting out towards the right lane (I was in the left/closest to the median), hit the brakes, lost traction, almost counter-steered out of it, but at that point I had already lost too much traction and the rear started to tail out. I did a 180 degree spin, went onto the grass median and took out a 12 ft tree that was on the median as if somebody had chopped it right in the middle of it. Ended up facing the other direction on the other side of the road, about 1 foot from a kids car. I got the police to write a report, and got no ticket or anything, but I had to baby her home at 30 mph.
It looks like at least (edit
) 1 axel, and the control arms are bent, one REAL bad wheel, 2 bad tires, and body damage from the tree behind the passenger side door. It doesn't look like there's major frame damage, but you guys tell me. Possibly totalled? Pictures are below. This sucks
Worst day of my life.

Frame damage?

Bent control arms...

Another bent axel/bubbled tire

Wow that sucks man.....glad that your ok though. I wouldn't say that its totaled by the looks of it but you cant always evaluate something upon looking at pics only!
We only have 2 axles
I'd suggest waiting on the word from the insurance guys. Damage in that back area(single piece body work). is more expensive generaly than the front of the car. You more than likely have bent control arms, either upper or lower on the front and back parts. If you don't have frame damage, that looks entirely repairable, but it will be somewhat extensive for the repairs.

Definately not totalled. Probably just a few bent control arms etc (BTW no axles in back). As for the body damage, that can definately be fixed. I had similar but worse damage like that on my 92 teg from someone backing into it, but it was fixed with no problems.

Yeah I'm gonna baby it to honda today, and then the insurance guys will come out and check it out.

It depends. If the body is crinkled enough above the subframe they will likely total it.
In a way, it'd be best if they did if it was badly damaged in areas you can't see from the pics.

Take the opportunity to have the pinstripe removed... And good luck getting it fixed, it definitely looks repairable, though not cheaply.

a car is never the same after an accident... especially with what looks to have suspension damage.
..... goodluck though, it would be nice if your car would get fixed without any problems.

rear quarter panels are a PITA to fix right. also, you have NH-0 paint... that will be very hard to match to the rest of the car. I wouldn't doubt the $10k repair quote someone put up.
