225/40/16 fitment

has anyone tried the 225/40/16 size on an EG chassis with 16x7 rims, Spoons more specifically? but any other rim 16x7 et 35mm?

i don't know i think it may rub... i have 205/45 16's and it just fits nicely i think 225's would be a bit wide. might need a 7.5" rim.

I have seen a 225 mounted on various 6in wide wheels. They should fit with no problem on a 7in. As for them fitting on the car, I have no idea.
