Default changing the cam gear nightmares.... Please help me..

Well I changed my cam gear today and I dont think I got the timing correct, as it has FAR much less power then when I didnt have it installed. Please help me with some tips as to how I can go about fixing this. The idle also got rougher, I can tell because things rattle at idle, and they didnt before. Please help me I hate seeing my car like this

Do have to just re-try adjusting the timing many times til I get ot correct?

Make sure you installed the cam gear and timing belt correctly according to the factory service manual. Also make sure your distributor timing is ok by timing it with a timing gun.

Thanks for the input. I have been trying to get the timing correct for a few hours now with no luck, would it help to advance the timing on the cam gear?
