Stock valve timing for the JDM Type R
Guys, i got a JDM Type R Spec 6 (1997 year) and purchased spoon camshafts with Toda cam pulleys.
Inserted everything but forgot to check the stock valve timing for the stock camshafts
Here we don't have dyno stands (i'm in Russia
), so my last hope to tune the spoon cams is to set the valve timing exactly the same as stock ones.
What i need is the time of opening exhaust valve before the bottom dead center
and the time of opening IN valve before the TDC for the stock camshafts.
Right now i have configured cams to what i feel better (checked with timer on the 3rd gear from 6,000 up to 9,000 revs), but i want more
The time improved up to 0,2 secs from the stock one on the ignition around +14.
I use that retarted ignition for the nitrous.
Or maybe some of you have already set spoon camshafts? Can you tell me your settings? There is no other mods in the engine except the cams and the exhaust (without the exhaust manifold).

Maybe someone has docs that came with spoon camshafts? There has to be some detailed specs if buying new cams. Mine cams are used, so i don't have a list with specs
