skunkworks coilovers...any good? comments please
a buddy of mine is selling his skunkworks coilovers...i was thinking if i should take it off his hands...but i have no idea how they ride...so i decided to get you guys's opinion...
are they any good? hows the ride? it would be going on a daily driver DA...so i wan't something that will get rid of that nasty fender gap and still be on the smooth side of a ride...
by the way...are skunkworks anywhere tied with skunk2?
thanx all

There good product far as ive heard. Only problem I hear is the stiff ride other than that its good. I personally have a friend with a 00 hatch that rides on skunks, same thing just a lil stiff.
I bought a set of skunkworks, and had them installed on my 90 integra back in 1999. I owned the car for several months with them on, and had mated them with tokico blues...........I was never happy with the ride quality, but didn't know enough back then to figure out why. They were more a one size fits all thing, and weren't very specific or refined.
How much is your friend asking?

Skunkworks are the same as Skunk2. I have Skunk2, and yes they can be stiff. I like the ride. Don't really notice how stiff they are until you go over speed bumps. But for the street, they are great.
