Car cover
This car was purchased from a fellow HT member who did most of the mods and setup. I have tracked it several times, but simply don’t have the money or time to continue with it right now. The car feels great on the track, with a fairly neutral setup, and very little body roll. This car is ready to take to the track now, or it could be prepped for H3 in the Honda Challenge.
Serious inquiries only, please.

Please note: The Sparco seats shown in the pics do NOT come with the car!

You know...just as I decided I'd clean up my car enough to get me back on the track with a nice "track day" sort of car, and how little I really need my back seat, this thing comes along. Looks like a nice car that's ready to go. Add a Quaife and a pair o' seats, and call it a day.
Sorry, not exactly a serious inquiry, but this looks like the kind of problem I could handle.

sniff. my baby...
This car needs a good home. It has been lovingly maintained for its entire life - as in every scheduled maintenance item in the book, never abused, never over-revved.
I see you changed the air intake David? I kinda liked the old-school Iceman...

When most people say Old School they don't mean Kindergarten.

Hey now boy-george!
That iceman served me well for about 5 years and over 70k miles. It is a fine piece of equipment that doesn't leave much hp on the table.
Matter of fact, I bought another Iceman for the civic. so there!

Oops. My mistake, the intake is still the Iceman.
See, that is part of the problem. I don't keep the car at my own house anymore since I don't have a garage, and it is quite the thief magnet parked outside.
So, as a result, I never get to just drive it around town like I wish I could on a Sunday afternoon. Now it's truly a car that only gets used a few days out of the year on the track, and I don't know if the economics of that make sense for me right now.

Well, without any interest from fellow HT members I may be forced to sell on Autotrader, or the like. Am I likely to get any true track junkies, or mostly ricers? I really don't want to sell the car to the wrong person, if you know what I mean. I want a buyer that will put it to use on track, not on the street. :/
Are there any other outlets for people to sell track cars, other than the back pages of GRMS?
Thanks

This may be far enough outside of the realm of likely so as not to be an issue but another consideration...
A friend of mine sold a Solo/Hillclimb Rabbit with a cage, seats, and harnesses to a high school kid in Washington State - who promptly killed himself and a friend in it sporting on a mountain road.
Investigators from the State Patrol contacted my bud and were very interested to learn why he had sold the car with modified safety equipment. He had a LOT of sleepless nights before they finally decided that the tragedy was in no way his fault.
