Honda Training School
i wish there was, thats what i would have been doing...but the only honda training schools there are, are for their mechanics...so you have to work for honda to go to their school...
When I was at Monterey Peninsula College my auto shop teacher was a Honda technician that actually tought some of the classes. He was telling me about a potential problem with the s2000 convertable top, and he had to teach the honda mechanics how to remove the covertable unit from the car. What a cool auto shop teacher to have ehhh!!!

Joe, I'm going to Sinclair this fall and I'm in the Honda PACT program. The 24 students that make it in get approx 60% of our Honda Certified Technician Training and an ID number so you can go to a Honda dealership anywhere in the country and they can look up you certification along with getting you the other 40%. It's a pretty sweet deal, especially being a Honda guy. You might wanna consider going to Sinclair and seeing if you can make it into the Honda program before it fills up. Plus we have a High Performance Engine Certification thing too that's like a year long. First quarter is blocks, second is heads, third is induction and fourth is assembly and dyno tuning. You supply the motor and basically the class is researching the parts you wanna build you motor with, buying them, putting it together and tuning it (you get to machine your motor with Sunnen tools and blueprint it and the whole shabangabang) it's pimp ****.
link please?
is this something new? because there is nothing around by me and ive search on the internet in about 2000 and found nothing other than toyota, ford, gm, bmw, mercedes-benz...
and i talked to the mechanics at my dealership at that time too and they told me you had to work for honda to take honda classes since there isnt any school for it...

Was that to me? Hell if I know if my college has a link about that on their website, or even if they have a website....derr...
Um, basically it's an offshoot of the Auto Tech degree. It's not 100% Honda all the time, but when the class goes off to actually work on cars in the shop instead of sitting in class, the Honda students pull in a Honda car and work together on it. The rest is just facts and theory etc.. based on what class you are in. Like if you are in an induction class, you aren't going to learn Make specific things, when you work on a car though, it'll be Honda, or GM or Ford etc etc... It's badass, it's like one of 12 Vanguard schools in the country or something that offers it. Lots of people come from out of state for this program. It's good.
