Default I'm brand New to Cars, Got kinda of a big question

I’m currently 16, and I have my G1 in Canada, which is there beginner license. I’m going for my G2 soon, which will allow me basically to drive all the time. I would like to get a civic but am not sure, if my idea will work as I plan it to. I would like to get a 94-96 civic, with plenty of KM on it so that the value is lowerd. Once I purchase it I would, like to do a complete swap of everything. I would be willing to spend $10,000, from engine swap to seats, exaust everything. I’m wondering if I can do this, with $10,000? Thanks a lot for all your help

It just all depends on exactly what kind of swap engine wise and what brands and everything u buy. an exhaust can range anywhere from 150 to 350 it just all depends what u do and buy etc

if you find really good deals on teh stuff you are buying i would say it could be possible. So when u are buying something if i were you i would browse around and see where u can find it for the cheapest and buy it from them especially with 10,000. Just buy smart i guess. But if you do that then it should be possible maybe

I got my 98 HX for 4600. You could put a h22a Prelude in it for around 10,000 with car and labor. It would be hella fast too... WAY faster than a Candian SiR

Probably just the car and swap for now if you know how to shop.

I was looking at the site jdm and i saw this price 96-00 Prelude H22A Engine
Swap: $3100.00 do you mean you can get a car and the engine for that much? How much do swap's cost? Is't risky to do it your self?

Yeah you should be able to get the swap and the car for 10k... Unless you're very skilled, I would get someone else to do the swap.

$10,000 is a good start. But it all depends on the swap you choose. in the gta yo can find them all over b16's starting around $3000 to a typeR for $5500 or a h22 for about $3-4000(plus instalation). for every thing else it all depends on the brands you choose. but never go cheap because you will only dissapoint your self buy the best quality you can and build your car slowly.
seats can go from $300-$3500 suspention from $100- 3000. so choose what you wan't more and go for it.

if your buying any thing I warn you to stay clear of "Luckey Star Japanese Auto Parts" located in Toronto (THEY RIP YOU OFF!!! many of horror stories.)

I've dumped over $10,000 in my civic and you would never notice by looking at it but I've only used top quallity parts.
Hope to see ya around tha GTA.

Man with 10gs I can build an awesome car, you just got to figure out what you want. You want loads of power and which way you want to achive it, you want going straight or going around the turns and still having some power at the wheels.

Most people here don't spend more then 5gs on their go fast parts and make a pretty good car, with 10gs you will have a really nice ride, just spend it wise and do your research.

Quick question. How the hell do you have $10k and you're only 16?

Yea I know 10,000 is alot, but common how much can the car be.... 2000-5000.., it's kinda like buying a 1 year old used car. Can you recommend me any auto shops in the GTA. When I get the car I will be 18, that's how all of that money. I'm 16 turning 17 this year and getting car this year or possibly early next. Then in the summer all do the swap, by the way does winter wear down your car....

Just buy youself a GS-R and save your time and money rather than buying a civic then swapping and then later on find out that something is wrong with the swap/engine/tranny... etc...
