my tranny came with about two inches of cable material comming off where i guess they cut the linkage while ripping out the engine/tranny.

anyhow i know that i have to use an accord/prelude cable shift linkage. you can read it a thousand times by searching.

i want to know what exactly i need to buy when purchasing the "prelude shift linkage" so i am completely prepared when i do this swap. hopefully in one weekend, so no bumbing rides to work for any week days.

do i use my stock shifter assmbly with "h22 shift linkage."
do i need the h22 shifter assembly and shift linkage?
what exactly is the shift linkage, just the cables that go from the tranny to the shifter assembly?
any other factory parts that i need to order/scavenge for?


are there any custom brackets that i will need to fabricate in order to properly use anything. other than cutting holes how much custom fab?

next up, comprehending the great concoction of factory parts i need to acquire for the axle deal.

if you read it why dont you know what you need?


any whooooo tell the wrecking yard you need a complete shifter assembly. which should come with the shifter lever, cable, and clips. it might not come with al the nuts and bolts but you can ask. it usually comes with the clips, shift lever, cables, and 4 nuts and bolts for the shifter lever plate.
