what am i goin to need to get it out? just a screwdriver or what? now i can take the cv joint out no problem. in fact there might be more wrong than just the seal. my lower balljoint fucked up and my whole suspension fell on my cv joint and broke it. im just goin to replace the seal if i can find out how to do it

just pop the old seal out with a screwdriver and push the new one in... simple as that

just make sure you order/get the correct side because the L/R's arent the same

i think its a bit more complicated since he has to remove the axle, and to remove the axle is has to unbolt part of his suspension...

You better hope it is just a seal. My tranny was leaking not too long ago, and it turns out that my case is cracked and a whole mess of other problems all at the same time. Needless to say, I am paying a guy to rebuild a new tranny for me. Should be done thursday
