Default Wet sanding?

A friend of mine and I painted my type r style abs lips...rattle canned. They look pretty good, but i'm sure i can make them look better. My question is, there are a few rough spots that need to be fixed and i was wondering if wet sanding them will get the rough spots out? If so, what grit do i need to use? The lips have been sanded, primered, painted, and clear coated. I really think i should wet sand them and hit them with a few more coats of paint and clear them again. Please help. Thanks!

wet sand and buff the lips, use like 2000 grit sand paper, and sand down the lip carefully, make sure you dont sand through all the clear, after you sand off some of the clear, get some sort of rubbing compound and buff the lip, and it should look real good afterwards

wetsand/buff the entire lip, so it looks even. and yeah wetsanding should take out that rough spot...just buff it afterwards.

Your friend sucks at spray painting.

That is all.

No he doesn't suck at spray painting...another friend of mine touched the lip before we had layed down the final clear coat and the oil from his ******* hands made that mark on the bumper.

looks good. Im sure after using rubbing compound and buffing it will make the lip look more finish'd. And i don't think anyone will care to go up close to see if the lip is painted good. Lip looks good, matches the color

You cannot wet sand paint from a rattle canned. There's not enough clear coat surface for it to recover from.
There are good can paint out there. I used a dupont can made for painting lips and it came out like it was sprayed by a gun.
