Exhaust pipe broke from flange
i just bought a honda cx and notice it was making alot of noise in the engine bay area
found out that the exhaust pipe broke off from the flange of the header.
i was wondering if i needed a new pipe.
or if i could ghetto rig or buy some sort of flex pipe to connect the two.
i just want to quiet down the exhaust at a minimal cost.

It should be pritty cheep , but take it to a weld shop. Ive seen guys slap things togather and flood the weld in there , when you get it home you'l see that the flange it wont line up , becouseof a bad fit up , of the heated the crap out of it and worped the flange. I had a buddy that wanted me to do a "small " favor for him. he had a local grage weld one a loose door henge down. by the time the guy got the door attached, there was a 2" hole under te heange and the littel meteral that was holding it in place was ritteled with poriosity. the door would have lasted longer if the manicic would have used bubble gum to hold it down. It was a nightmare. Good Luck
