placement of bypass valve?..

Default placement of bypass valve?..

i have a cold air intake...and also bought a bypass valve...(i know all the cons of the bypass valve) and i'm prolly gonna return it...but if i dont, i just want to know where on the intake the bypass valve should go?...

right after the arch in the intake. Basically in the middle. cut it so that if you took your CAI off you could still run a short ram.

my intake came in two pieces?..

can i put in righ in the middle?..

yes, but be careful my bypass valve ripped in half!

Mine too...(after two years)...now I just run a rubber hose connector and some black electrical tape...screw the puddles.

i read somewhere your not supposed to have your spark plugs zip tied together like that, somethin about cross interference or something, maybe you should look inot it and to the original poster if the pipe the connects to the tb is solid all the way to the hole near the fender well you kind ahave to cut it in the middle area so i would think about that

Hum...still runs/idles the same as before...but thanks for the heads up...I'll do some searching.

I've had my bypass valve for 2 years now and i have never had any problems with it. I just take care of it and yell at people who mess with it cause i have heard of this happing befor.

i was not yelling. i said i yell at people who mess with it, as in sit there and squeze it or are like "hey what is that?" and sit there and poke it.
