Hey, this may be a bit of a long shot (since this is a honda forum), but a friend suggested I try posting here simply because theres so many members, many of which have a lot of knowledge about cars other than just hondas.

I recently acquired an old 86 300zx (very cool car imo) and, sadly its N/A. I was just wondering if anyone might have any input about turbo setups for the old Z31, I dont really have plans to make the car particularly fast, I just want it faster than it is currently.

 

Hey buddy you willl spend less buying a whole motor which goes for about 500bucks and swaping it out. I know, we did one already.

 

Hm, I remember hearing the turbo trannies were better than the N/A ones, so I can only assume i'd want to swap in the transmission from a turbo model as well, any idea how much that would cost?

exhaust manifolds
turboturbo->intake pipe
and downpipe
