im finally getting rid of my kenwood kvt911 and planning on picking up the alpine IVA-D300? anyone using it and how do you like it? the main reasin i want it is cause alpine is coming out with a connection box to hook up your ipod and use the deck to control it.

 

Have you considered the Pioneer AVIC-N1 if you are going to spend that much get the navigation too.

 

The 300 from alpine is a really really nice unit, My only complaint is that it won't play burned DVD's....not a huge negative but a negative none the less.

The Avic N1 is nice, but if you aren't worried about navigation then don't bother with the extra 500 bucks, You'll be more than happy with the Alpine.

yes it will , it just needed a software upgrade, our Alpine rep was in last week, and did our demo unit, all new units shipped will be ok 94

 

whew! i was kinda worried about that. im glad it plays burned dvds. imn gonna get it today afterwork. thanks for the inputs.
