Help!!! Need to register right hand drive eg in NJ
I have searched and havnt found anything. The person im buying this from has a salvaged japanese title. I spoke with the dmv and they have told me that you cant register a salvaged imported car. Is there anyway around this. I really need to register this car. Pls help if you have any info on this
I would be very wary of that. Those are the types of things that chop shops do, and since you will have to have your vehicle inspected by a law enforcement officer of some sort who deals with cars (usually state troopers), you don't want to look like your car has been chopped. And with car theft rates pretty high for imports, I'm sure they are looking extra hard at those cars for anyone trying to pull a fast one.
I've thought about this a lot.
