for the CABLE transmissions...i think there are like 4types?
does anyone know the gear ratios for each of them? (s1, etc...)

there are 2 different gears for the b16 cable trannies

s1/j1/ jdm ys1
theres the short gears with the 4.4 final drive. this trannie has the same gearing as the itr and the usdm hydro trannies. hair above 4k going 80 mph on 5th gear

i have this b16 trannie and the gears are longer than the normal b16 and it has a 4.2 final drive. so its a hair below 4k going 80mph on 5th
this trannie the gears are even bigger than gsr gears so this tranny sucks but its stull much better than a ls trannie

 

no honda tranny will be at 4.9k going 80 on 5th thats almost 5000rpm
either your tack is off or your speedo is off
