well there is a big difference in a 2 row radiator and a single row radiator

i called radiators.com and they said honda doesnt make a dual core or two row radiator for a delsol; but autozone said it was... Im just confused now

do you have a stock single core? the new one should look almost twice as thick as the old one (atleast mine did)

I just called autozone and verified everything and he said its fine... You cant tell buy just looking at it if its a dual core or not; as in the rows. You can measure it and it should be ~1.5inches. Ive had enough people tell me Im tripping about nothing as usual

Thanks del sol guys ... Back to the integra forum i go

I got one from autozone too, $99. Im not really sure if its dual core I hear some people say yeah and some say no. However I can tell you for sure that the radiator works great for my b18c1 hatch, and yeah its twice as thick as a stock civic. Im very happy with mine. Ive had it for almost 1 year

Just compare it to your original single core and it should be significantly thicker. The OEM Del Sol Vtec radiators literally look twice as thick as the single core units.

Also, everyone probably has their own version of what "dual core" is, like Autozone...

Just look at a stock OEM Del Sol Vtec radiator and you'll know what I mean.

Honda does indeed make them for the Del Sol (dual core), but you can also get them for the 92-95 Si automatic. That is too thick to be a single core rad.

okay.. im lost too i still dont understand

take a radiator from a 94 LS teg .. . its twice as LONG (like from one side ofthe car to the other) as the radiator in my 00 civic

is that dual core (in the teg) or is it the thickness?? and if its the thickness then what kind of radiator is that in a teg?

no that is a full radiator, dual core means that there is one core in front of another front to back. They are more efficient but of course full dual core aluminum would be the best if you really needed that amount of cooling

You can peep inside the radiator and see if its a dual core or not.
But by the looks of that, I say its too thick for a single core.
