93 accord - error 41 take 3
Ok, I have replaced the O2 again. And it has failed again. Everytime I replace it, the car runs great. But they keep failing.
I will be honest. I got the O2 sensor at Auto Zone. It is a Bosch. Could they just suck or is there something in the emissions system causing the O2s to go out.
Any ideas would be helpful.
I have some other issues too I am gonna post in seperate emails.

What do you mean it goes out? It fails? are you saying that it can't provide the appropriate signal to the ECU or are you saying that the cel comes on and fires code 41?

Perhaps this will explain it better:
January - Car started running poorly, check engine light came on, checked error code. It was 41. Replaced O2 sensor, all was fine again.
May - Car started running poorly, check engine light came on, checked error code. It was 41 (under warranty). Replaced O2 sensor, all was fine again.
July - Car started running poorly, check engine light came on, checked error code. It was 41. Posted here.
Does that help explain my situtation any better? I am concerned that I am getting crappy O2 sensors. But if not, then for some reason, my car is causing O2 sensors to not function, after some time. If they did not work at all when I replaced them, I would continue to look for another component. But the fact that the errors go away and car runs well for some time after replacement confuses me.

Hesitations when given little throttle. I drive the car on the highway at ~70mph mostly so the gas mileage has not suffered too much. Once the check engine light comes on, the engine does smooth out some. Especially when cruising on the highway.
