In need of JDM downpipe!!!!!!!!!*HELP*
What did everyone do when they got their JDM H22 swap??? I got my motor all installed and can't drive it because I do not have the downpipe to attach to the exhaust manifold. And I really do not want to pay 300 for a gay dc sports header just so i can bend it or crack it. Is there anyone that has one for sale or does anyone know if I can weld something or make something work temporarely? Thanks!

I have no idea if the USDM one will work or not. The thing is I have a 97 Accord so the downpipe on that one is different.

Do you think that they could weld straight to the cast-iron manifold? See I have this other downpipe but the holes on it do not match up to the studs on the exhaust manifold. I bet if I had a header already that the downpipe that I already have would probably match up.

You wont buy a DC but ur willing to gamble by having a muffler shop fabricate a downpipe for you? lol
My money is on the DC lasting longer unless thats a very competant shop that does this kind of stuff all the time.

I am by no means saying that I am going to keep the fabricated down pipe on there for good. I just need something for now so I can drive my car. Then I will save up for a decent header. I really do not even care if what I put on there loses 50hp, I just need my car to drive to work.
