Can someone please tell me how the final drive affects transmission performance. I have a GSR tranny and I am debating whether or not to put the LS Final Drive in for a turbo application.

 

far as i know the final drive is basically what determines your acceleration, the higher the number the quicker acceleration. why not just get an ls tranny all together, it would be best for turbo applications. You probably could sell the gsr tranny, buy a ls one, and should still have maoney left over.
