it's not like we haven't seen about twenty other cars just like yours on this board. And i wouldn't really call an SOHC at 7psi a sleeper just because you got the look down.

Sleepers are always tight, do a swap and or turbo it but keep everything else stock looking hence the sleeper look. I like the steelie idea with azenis

its hard to make any hatch a sleeper...jmo, cause whenever you see a hatch the 1st thign u wonder is..hmmm whats under the hood?
i am not a big fan of the whole steelies thing. yeah, it looks very sleeper, cause it makes your car look like a ghetto peice, but you can manage a sleeper car w/o having steelies. i personally like the older integra LS wheels, they would look really nice and still allow you to be sleeper.
hahaha.. yeah thats true about how nowadays being sleeper isn't really a big deal.. it seems like more of a fad to me, but whatevers.. good luck on your set up. peace.
What the ****'s the point? Hell now a days any Honda that's looks anything but stock is going to have a swap and it will take all of one race for the whole town to know what your made of. Who really cares. You can keep your heavy *** steel wheels and less efficient black intercooler and 2.5" ES Oval trash. I'd rather run lightweight alloys, thermal coated intercooler and a nice big 3" exhaust.
I fail to see the point of the whole "sleeper" fad.
If you ask me it just sounds like a lame excuse to use for being broke.

Get rid of your hatch and refer to this thread if you want to build a sleeper:

Sleepers have been and always will be...a way to have a performance car without the need to tell the whole world about it. Plus it is fun when someone tries to race you in their tacky honda thinking you are stock...the sleeper is fun times.
Kind of like the anti-ricer...the car that DOES NOT have a lawnmower-sounding exhaust, 4 ft. wing on the back that actually lifts the front end (traction wheels) off the ground at 80mph, stickers that represent all of these companies that aren't paying you to sport their name...yeah...anti-ricer.

It was never about "anit-rice" It was about funtion over form. So you are telling me that if you take his "sleeper" and put some 15" SSR comps over steelies, a Thermal 3" exhaust or 80mm N1 over his "custom 2.5 w/ ES" and a Swain's coated intercooler over a "flat black" one that it will all of a sudden become "rice". Riiight.
All I was saying is the whole "I'm building a sleeper thing" is such a joke. Like I said it's just a lame excuse to tell people you're poor. Like I said after you race one or two people everyone knows what's up. Why bother.

you plan on running 14-20psi of boost? Well what are you planning on doing to the engine so it can hold so much boost?
And if you really want to keep it sleeper, get some nice coilovers and leave it at stock height. Like everyone else has been saying: If you see a lowered 92-95 hatch you automatically think "wonder what swap he has". Keep it a little lower than stock height and suprise them on the launch!

14-20psi of boost sounds REAL good with that "hot 2.5" es oval". Sounds even better on a stock engine and no stand-alone. :rolls eyes:
Course you won't need all that for some "caNyOn carvin". Ayeyaya
