I posted earlier about going from a 56' Ford F-100 truck to an 94 Integra... I've been reading all these posts and feel so bad about all these people getting their cars jacked! I've got a story I thought I'd share bout getting broken into this past year 3 TIMES!!!

Last July-By this time I hadn't done many things to the car cept carbon fiber hood, and sideskirts.. nothing in terms of performance just a nice stereo.

I got back from a date bout 3:30-4:00am (it went pretty well) anyways I was beat so I pulled into my secure parking lot and cruised some sleep. I had to be up by 6:00am anways. I always came home quiet and never blasted tunes or reved engine.. usually just coasted into the parkin garage. Parked car and went upstairs..alarmed car (completely forgot my wallet in the console..it was 4 and it was a long cough.. cough.. date)

Wake up and get up, eat, go to my car by 7:30 to get into work early. Walking to my car I look through the passenger window and notice wires... I freak and run to the car. **** glass everywhere..stereo gone, shifter gone, WHOLE CENTER CONSOLE where the stereo was.. GONE, wallet gone (my bad), every paper in glovebox and manual gone, air intake gone, everything that wasnt bolted down basically was gone. Looks like they tried to jack it but no luck..I call cops.. and wait. While waiting Im like.. hmmm why is the gas tank open. **** they were trying to pop trunk, everything EVERYTHING in trunk gone.. Box, amps, schoolwork, everything. (well they did leave my skateboard

Cops show up.. first thing he says is.. "Wow sucks" I say "Yeah do you think?" he then mentions to me "Umm do you know you can get a ticket for your car being that low, and the exhaust prob should be made stock" Upon deciding if I should reach for his gun and blow away his nutz.. I told him if he wasnt going to take his report down so I can get back to my job that pays his salary, he should just leave. Report gets filled out.. I write it off as a big loss

Get a call a week later the recovered some of my stuff and to go to the police station. I show up... they have my wallet and ID thats all. They asked me if the handwriting that had all my info (work addy, job, title, name, address, numbers etc.. was mine) I said NO... cop goes.. "well we got em just before they were going to do identity theft" So I ask him where did he find my wallet (assuming they tossed it out the window) heres the story..

Apparently someone was caught on camera at an internet cafe stealing computer towers. On a tip they pulled them over and found out they were in a stolen SUV, opend the glovebox to find 30 wallets and licenses..(mine being one of em) they searched their place to find stolen wallets, 3 more cars (two integras), computers, home entertainment stuff, MAIL, Credit Cards etc... they were busted. The theifs offered no help (of course) the had already sold my stuff (jacked in a span of 3 hours) sold in a day.

The worst part of this. . . . . .

They were two chicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ages: 23 and 19 (who now are in jail for everything including mail theft and fraud) I would rather be jacked by dudes as I'm sure you would too.. just sounds better.
Anyways I thought I'd share... Everyone is right, you can safeguard but never totally prevent. LAYER that ****, never leave anything in sight in your car, park in secured garage (if in apts..tantum parking.. park first, car covers help, alarms etc..)

owning a car without a garage is bullshit..

but it is also bullshit that we cant own and fix up our cars without being scared shitless that it will get stolen at a movie or something..

That is a crazy story man. It is a brutal world now that we can't just be at ease with our cars and any prized possessions without having to worry if its going to get stolen when the car is not being driven cause we all know that if we aren't in it we are worried if its getting jacked

I met some hardcore looking dude at the car wash place, told him my story (it had just happened) he said the same **** happened to him so he parked his car on the st. and had friends waiting in other cars parked around his. He said he sat in the corner in the dark for a night or two to see if anyone came.. and on the second night 3 dudes came out to jack his stuff. He had left the window open a bit (to avoid having them break it) SO im like.... ok so three dudes came to steal your civic.. what did you do. He smiled and said.. "Me and my friends wailed on those bitches"..he hit one guy getting into his car with a pipe.. etc... then called the cops after most of his friends bailed. Now I don't think this guy was lying to me..but nonetheless. Pretty awesome that someone got some justice. But what are we all going to do sit in the dark and watch our rides? My car got broken into two more times.. and stereos stolen but not the car. No probs in the last 6 months (knock on wood).. Anyways yes... I am sure anyone would beat the **** outta someone stealing their cars. I almost got into a fight the other night (SO STUPID) this ghetto black dude almost hits me and my gfriend going 60mpg down an alley (on our way home). I say "Jesus christ... slow the **** down" (keep in mind the alley is barely big enough for two cars.. and going 15 mph is speeding there.

So this dude says "Ohh no you didnt just say **** to me" and pulls a uturn to chase me. Again.. me and my gfriend just got back from dinner and chillin, so we were laughin it off. He pulls up next to her side and says "Ill get out my car and stomp you ***** *****", I didnt back down and told him he was at fault so get out of the car if he has **** to say. He just kept telling me I dont understand what a brother goes through, and how society disrespects him daily. (Granted he's black, angry, and ghetto... i can't see why) Anyways he tells me in respect of my gfriend he wont kick my ***. She gave me the look of get out and beat him. I grabbed the metal pipe for the floor jack and he boned out.

*moral of the story... besides getting cars broken into, not very many people respect your car or you when your out and about. Specially dudes in Explorers with those spinning 20" wheels.* and yes... if it was legal I woulda blown him away too
