jdm d15b is like a vx block, susposably stronger rods. p-28 head (like z6) but better cam compared to a zex cam. makes something like 128hp. Basicly a smaller version of z6 but just as powerfull.

Yes you can put a jdm d15b head on usdm d15 or d16 as long as the piston has 4 valve reliefs. Some cx motors only got 2

the d15b,
its rated at 130ps, not hp,
that calculates to 128.22 exactly

not that ratings are exact, but if they were thats what it'd be

I've search out the JDM EPC, and found that piston (on d15b 130 hp) part number is different from the part number of JDM non-vtec d15b.

So, really I'm in trouble - I have now the EDM EG4 Civic with D15b2, and I can swap the head with all the necessery equipment like tranny, fuel rail, etc, OR I can swap the whole motor with the long block and transmission.

PRO - to the first variant - not need to do corrections to the docs, in russia this is a serious problems.
Contra - to the first variant - I'm really do non know anybody in Moscow who can (or try) to do this swap...

Second variant - is twice expensive (about 1000 usd for all with work) but 100% successful...

Guys, If anyone do this head swap, or may be see anywhere DETAILED instructions, please help.

I understand that SEARCH is the best friend of LAMER, but may be i'm not so much now (in termins, words) to enter correct string of words to search right infos...

So, guys, help please
