Default Crappy 1/4 mile results... gimmie some pointers.

So I took the Teg to the track friday night for a few runs, and below is my best... I have a 94 Integra with Magnaflow catback exhaust, ACT 12lbs flywheel, and Exedy clutch... i have little lightening other than the windshield wiper delete, and the wheels are a bit lighter than steelies... the car weighs 2460 without me... The runs were done at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie Co, VA.. I'm currently running 185/60/14 as a temporary tire, they have maybe 10k left in them...

Immediate future plans are only Comptech SRI + Icebox, Comptech 4/2/1 header, and a ground upgrade... later, possibly a skunk2 IM, and Crower 403s

R/T - .637 (sucks)
60' - 2.506
330' - 7.008
1/8 - 10.742
MPH - 65.22
100 - 13.976
1/4 - 16.752
MPH - 79.92

ALSO: When my Circuit 10s come in, I was planning on getting a set of drag radials... I currently have 14" cast wheels, only sizes i find for 14" drag radials are 205/50/14 and 215/60/14... will the 205/50/14 be a good tire to run?

Eh, you numbers don't look too far off for your car (assuming its the stock b18b in there). Your trap seems a little low though... did you let off or something near the finish?
Could be a number of things. Track condition (shitty track prep), weather (hot and humid will hurt times); what sort of times were other cars running? Did everyone else seem to be running slower? Sure sign that conditions weren't optimal.
You definitely need to work on your launching; what tires are you running? Some popular ways to help the launch is to lower the psi in the front, and bump it up slightly in the rear.
edit: save up for a swap, or turbo and pass on the header.

if it's a b18b1 then you are only .6 away from your stock time. And don't worry about your reaction time it doesn't affect your ET at all unless you are bracket racing. Just get some practice and I'm sure it will be a little better.

Let some air out of the tires, to try and get some better traction. Make sure you get your shifts down . And just practice your takeoffs and shifting.

HAHAHAHA Dinwiddie County, Virginia...that sounds like somewhere in BFE. Anyway, Your 185/60/14 tires probably suck *** judging by your 2.5+ 60ft. time. Might want to parctice your lanch as well. There is no point in getting drag radials for a pretty stock B18B1. If you want 14" tires maybe try a 195/60/14 instrad...can't beat a $200 set of quality tires. IMO drag racing Hondas on the track is pretty redneckian. I think a street race to 90 mph in a controlled and empty environment is fun as hell. Ever think of trying autocross?

i went to the "Big Show" at dinwiddi back in early june and got 2nd in my 92 LS in the street bandit class (slow stock pos class) here are my best numbers:

r/t -.259
60' - 2.411
330- 6.774
1/8 - 10.398
mph -68.24
1000 - 13.512
1/4 - 16.160
mph - 82.22

all i have done is an iceman CAI and i was running on my street tires which need to be replaced very badly. you just need more practice.

Do not worry about reaction time! Let the Pro Street camaro make its run about halfway down the track and then concentrate on making a good launch.........

id also suggest a fresh tune-up or maybe check your timing........ your hurtin up top

good luck!
