From the Race Chair....
Everything's in place for the "10 Heures du Man" at GingerMan next weekend,
but we still have room for more entrants in the club race Saturday and the
Enduro Sunday. If you've been running a little late with your enduro entry,
don't sweat it. We'd still be happy to have you! Sprint racers you still
have two days to get your pre-registration in, but if you get the car
together Friday c'mon over anyway and register on-site.
SRF and SR drivers are in the Small Prod group 5 Saturday, the entry form
mistakenly listed them in group 3 as well.
Nobody races until we have workers on station. In addition to the usual free
eats and our undying gratitude, all our workers who make the trip will get a
good quality folding camp chair for taking a break between sessions or
lounging around the campfire at BFR. Sunday dinner is salmon and roast pork
loin with numerous sides by the new concessionaire who gets high marks so
far. And we continue the now-traditional fireworks on Sunday and
wine-and-cheese reception on Saturday. The racing should be tight with many
more Miatas vying for the 10-Hour podium this year.
Those who come will have a good time!
