I'm looking for some tires to go on my stock wheels. I previously ran the 205/50 Azenis on the stockers, but switched those over to the ES Tarmacs i bought for track use. So now i need a set for my stockers. Obviously i'm looking for 195/55's or 205/50's. I had my mind set on 205/50 Kumho MX's, but am having some difficulty finding them in stock here in Canada right now. I'll be using R compounds on the track wheels next year so I want to use these tires mainly for the street; but also for cold/rainy auto-x and track days, so i don't want to give up much of the grip the Azenis provided but i do also need excellent wet traction as well. If i can't find the MX's what else would you recommend? I know alot of guys are high on the AVS ES 100's, but will they provide the grip that the MX's will give me? Any other relatively cheap tire suggestions? RE 010's are really expensive here in Canada so don't suggest them.

Hmm. i found some MX's available in Eastern Canada, but they want $75 CDN more than the others wanted. I'm starting to think i might just get the MX's or another set of Azenis and use them on the stock wheels for the street/track this year and use them as a second track wheel/tire combo next summer and just buy a set of 16" Rotas or something and some ES 100's for street duty.
