i dont mean to hurt your feelings.. but 9 times out of 10 the car would be fully stripped to the frame within 12-24 hrs. especially here in So. Cal.

thanks for the bumps guys. Yeah its actually my buddy's car. it was in the shop for three months and he had just got it to run right. He had a detachable steering wheel but the only night he left it on the car was gone. I could imagine its stipped to its shell. I need some ideas of where to start searching for the shell though.

 

it's always that one day you forget, that it's taken. I learned this the hard way...had my crx broken into the ONE week the alarm was disabled due to a sensor I needed to fix. Never again will I let something go "just another day" or not trip all the manual cut-offs "just this one time"

owning a gsr requires you to be more careful.

Buy an alarm, anyone who hasn't already. Sometimes all it takes is that little blinking light to make a thief think again.

yeah, I remember I had my Bike jacked on Easter at the university. These peeps steal anything. I hope whoever stole my bike is being punished now sounds like you can't have anything nice in the "university" areas :!

Also...do you notice in every "mar car was stolen" thread, the car stolen has a carbon fiber hood on it. Those things attract shady bandwagoners that will jack your car and rock your parts...since its so common nobody can point out THEIR Rotas or THEIR hood.

Your ride was beautiful, I have a milano red gsr and i really feel for you bro, i had 2 cars stolen from me B4 both at cerritos mall, and what really sucked is the cops wouldn't send a squad car!!!!!!!!!!! to take a statement. I had to taxi a ride over to the station to make out the report at 11:00 at nightFor the first car and then a year later same thing again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Its wierd though because car thieves read these threads too, the ones who did it probibly already saw this one.

Sorry for the loss, its sad what this world is coming to, people need to respect others property.

I see this said a lot. Is this just paranoid blabberings, or has a Honda-Tech member been caught stealing a car............I know you don't have to be a member to browse the site..........but still has anyone ever heard a car thief say after they were caught or converted that they use to go on HT to case the tegs they were planning on stealing. I think we give car thieves a little too much credit........(if car thieves are reading this right now, please don't take this as a personal challenge between my teg and you )
