Problems w/throttle body, broke hose off, and used jbweld.
When i got my engine shipped to me there was a metal strip holding the engine to a crate... anyways, it pushed on the piece of hosing at the top of a stock throttle body. Copper in color, connects to the charcoal canester. Anyways, when i installed in the engine, and added the hose the hose broke off. I ended up using jbweld to re-attach it. I do know that air can flow in and out of the hole, and althrough it looks ugly now connects correctly.
My question is what does the hose do and what kinds of problems could i have in the future?
Do you think i should get a new throttle body?
